High-Temperature Kiln with Bottom Loader

Elevator chamber kilns with movable button for universal applications, especially suitable for sintering of technical ceramic, electro-ceramic and wear resistant ceramic are now available by Linn High Therm GmbH/DE. The kiln bottom may be lowered via a hydraulic lifting device and then moved manually. The useful chamber sizes range between 4 to 125 l. The kiln is heating on four sides, depending on application, temperature and atmosphere APM, Kanthal Super-, molybdenum- or tungsten heaters can be used. The kiln insulation consists of high quality refractory bricks, or fibre insulation (depending on temperature); on request special design also in C-insulation can be offered. The kiln is available in following options: with protective gas tight for neutral and reducing atmosphere; for vacuum and/or adjustable partial pressure and with gas re-cooling with gas circulation by heat exchanger. Depending on application, the temperature reaches maximum 1800 °C, in case of graphite felt insulation and graphite heaters the temperature can rise up to 1900 °C for reducing and neutral atmosphere (10/2011).
