Shinepukur Ceramics Receives D&B Corporate Award

Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd (SCL) is the leading ceramic-tableware manufacturer and largest ceramic-tableware exporter in Bangladesh. The company won the Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Award in its respective category being the first and only listed ceramic-tableware manufacturer in Bangladesh to win such recognition from Dun & Bradstreet Rating Agency Bangladesh Limited. Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) was established in 1841, and operates the world’s largest commercial database containing more than 190 million business records across over 200 countries. SCL produces and exports ceramic tableware since 1999, and contributes more than 60 % of the total national ceramic tableware export from Bangladesh. SCL is the only ceramic tableware manufacturer of the country to receive the National Export Trophy (Gold) – the highest national accolade for record three times from the Government of Bangladesh for highest export made during the period. SCL was also acclaimed as Superbrands company last year (10/2011).
